Introduction

Working with Files and Folders

The Internet connection on your device is required to sign in to your SafeSync account and update your files and folders. However, you may be able to access any file that was previously accessed even if you do not have an Internet connection. |
To create a folder:
- Go to the location where you want to create a new folder.
- Press the Menu button and then tap Create Folder.
- Type a name for the folder.
- Tap OK.
To upload a file stored on your memory card:
- Go to the location where you want to upload the file.
- Press the Menu button and then tap Upload file.
- Select one of the following:
- Select from all files
- Select from image files
- Select from audio files
- Select from video files
- Tap OK.
- Tap the file you want to upload.
- Tap OK.
To capture a picture or a video from your camera and upload to your SafeSync account:
- Go to the location where you want to upload the file.
- Press the Menu button and then tap Upload file.
- Select one of the following:
- Take Picture
- Record Video
- Tap OK.
- Type a name for your picture or video.
- Tap OK.
To rename a file or folder:
- Tap and hold the file or folder you want to rename.
- Tap Rename.
- Type the new name for the file or folder.
- Tap OK.
To delete a file or folder:
- Tap and hold the file or folder you want to delete.
- Tap Delete. The confirmation dialog box appears.
- Tap OK.
To share a file or folder:
- Tap and hold the file or folder you want to share.
- Tap Share. Your default email utility appears.
- In the To field, type the recipient's email address(es).

If entering more than one email address, separate the email addresses with a comma. |
- Tap Send.
To disable file or folder sharing:
- Tap and hold the file or folder whose sharing you want to disable.
- Tap Disable sharing.
To view the thumbnails of all the images and videos in the active folder:
- Press the Menu button.
- Tap Thumbnails.
To refresh folder content:
- Press the Menu button.
- Tap Refresh.

SafeSync Options
To set the cache size:
- Press the Menu button, and then tap Settings.
- Tap Set cache size. A dialog box appears displaying different cache size options.
- Select the appropriate cache size.
- Tap OK.
To set the upload quality of image files:
- Press the Menu button, and then tap Settings.
- Tap Image Upload Quality. A dialog box appears displaying different options.
- Select the appropriate picture quality.
- Tap OK.
To sign out from your SafeSync account:
- Press the Menu button and then tap Settings.
- Tap Sign out.
