User settings
These settings are
used throughout the application and may have more than
one affect.
Name: The person's name to add to the
top of reports.
Peak flow units: select the units in
which you test peak flow. Currently only L/min is
supported. This is used as the preset unit when adding
new events. It is also the unit that the reports will
use.
Weight: select the units in which you
record weight. Typically the UK uses Kg and the US uses
lb. This is used in the reports.
Height: select the units in which you
record weight. Typically the UK uses cm and the US uses
in. This is used in the reports.
Peak flow Levels: these set the
boundaries to the critical and target levels of glucose.
The initial values are set for mmol/L and are not
automatically converted when Glucose units is changed:
these levels will normally be set by your diabetes
medical team.This is used to automatically set the
glucose level indicator in the Event Panel and Logbook
Table.
The conversion is 1 mmol/L = 18 mg/dL .
Periods: these are used to make it
easier to review peak flow for different parts of the
day. Asthma Logbook X will automatically preset the time
period for an event.
Defaults: set preferred inhalers and
medicine. These are used as presets when adding a new
event. Use the 'Edit Lists ...' button to manage the list
of inhalers, medicines and event types.
BUTTON: Save Settings Now: force a save
of the database and user settings to occur immediately.
