1. Once you begin the maintenance process, let IceClean to perform the tasks you've selected. Don't force IceClean to quit: that could be seriously dangerous for your System.
2. Verify that the CD-DVD RW is properly inserted into the drive before beginning the Quick or Full Erase Process.
3. IceClean is a Pro Unix tool, but it's intended also for novices. Removing '.localized' files option is a built-in advanced optimization task intended to remove ALL '.localized' files existing in every disk or partition founded by IceClean and managed by your System, causing to loss Localized Language for your Directories. You don't need to reinstall OSX by default to restore localized directories. For naming System-defined directories, such as /System, /Library, /Users and the default directories in each user’s home directory you have to re-create an empty invisible file with the name '.localized' that causes the system to display the directory with a localized name in relationship with your personal installed language. After creating this file, you have to put in each directory you wish to be re-localilzed.
