To install and start the QDL service:

1. The QDL service is automatically installed and started

To change the download image paths that the QDL service uses:

1. From the Start Run… menu, type: cmd

2. From the command prompt, navigate to the folder where QDL service was installed (e.g. C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\QDLService)

3. Open the file titled Options.txt using a text editor (e.g. notepad Options.txt)

4. Modify the paths to point to the UNDP-1 images to download (amss.mbn and apps.mbn)

5. For the change to be applied either restart the PC, restart the service in Administrative Tools, or from command prompt, type QDLService.exe -o

To start, stop or restart the QDL service:

1. From the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services select: Qualcomm MDM-1000 Download Service

2. Click on the Start, Stop or Restart buttons

To uninstall the QDL service:

1. From the Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, select QDLService and press the Remove button
