23/12/2003 New version 2.6 is released!
What's new:
- Now you can make alias for folders in Favorite List (make short names instead of long paths, for example: instead of 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\' you can only write 'Shared Documents');
- now you can set whether to show original folder icons in folders list or not
(to speed up program work you should uncheck suitable option in "Options" window);
- you can open Folder Cache through the system tray icon using both left and right mouse clicks
(double click opens "Options" window);
- some minor bugs are fixed.

What's new:
- now you can manually add folders not in Cache List but in special list of Favorite Folders;
- you can use Folder Cache in 6 modes: they are differ in position of Cache List and Favorite List in a common list;
- black list for folders, which you don't want to see in Cache List is added;
- black list for applications, in which you don't want to see Folder Cache is added;
- now you can customize where you want to see Folder Cache button or menu item in popup menu;
- access to the Folder Cache from System Tray is added;
- new XP-look button/icon is designed;
- Multilingual Interface support is added.

Multilingual interface:

All the existent languages are now included in main distribution kit. But if you download Folder Cache before your language appeared on our site, you can download language file by itself, save it to the program folder (by default: "C:\Program Files\Folder Cache\") and then restart program.

You can replace interface language with your native in one click - just select your native language file (.lng) in the General Options tab of the Options Window or, if it does not exist or it is not updated for last version, you can make it by yourself and get FREE registration key for Folder Cache.

You can create your native language file with the following steps:

• take default language file "english.lng" (you can find it in the folder where Folder Cache was installed or you can download it from the link below);
• open this file in any text editor;
• replace all English strings in this file with strings in your language (all strings for translation are on the right of "=" character in quotes);
• save this file with the name of your language, which will be displayed in our program (for example: "french.lng");
• send this file with letter to the address fclang@nesoft.org with your name (we will use this name for the registration key and will place it near your language file on this page, of course if you want).
