Product Discontinuation Statement

In Q4, 2000 Intel announced the discontinuation of the Intel® PRO/100 CardBus II Adapter (MBLA3300, MBLA3400) and the Intel® PRO/100 LAN+Modem56 CardBus II Adapter (MBLA3356, MBLA3456).

In Q1, 2005, Intel announced the discontinuation of the Intel® PRO/100 S Mobile Adapter family(MBLA3300C3 and MBLA 3356C3) and the PRO/100 SR Combo Mobile Adapter (MBLA3456C3)

Q1: Why is Intel no longer offering these mobile adapter products?
A1: These adapters are being discontinued due to customer preference for LAN on Motherboard solutions.

Q2: How long will Intel provide drivers for the Intel® Mobile product families?
A2: It is Intel's plan that the driver suite for the discontinued adapters will be available on the support web site until demand for the drivers drops significantly.

Q3: How long will Intel provide support for the Intel® Mobile product family
A3: Free technical troubleshooting information will continue via our online services. Telephone and Email support via Intel Technicians will be discontinued on June 1, 2005.

Q4: What if I have problems with one of the Intel® Mobile product family and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
A4: The Intel mobile product families have a Limited Lifetime Warranty which Intel will continue to honor.
