Enhanced Windows Backup is software that protects your computer information to ensure that you don't lose anything if: your hard disk fails; your computer is stolen; your computer gets damaged; or you accidentally delete something.
Enhanced Windows Backup uses Windows' built in backup engine called Windows Backup (ntbackup) which provides state-of-the-art core backup technology such as such as Volume Shadow Copy, active directory backup, live registry backup, outlook, exchange etc. but lacks certain essential capabilities.
Enhanced Windows Backup substantially extends the capabilities of NTBackup, providing an effective integrated backup solution that can take on expensive competitive solutions. Enhanced Windows Backup improves upon ntbackup in the following ways: Multiple backup jobs; True Scheduling and background backups; Old Backup file management & automatic deletion when space needed; Friendly & easy to use
Enhanced Windows Backup is focussed on providing "backup to disk" and can use spare hard disk capacity: in the same computer; on other computers via a local area network (LAN); external hard disks (e.g. Firewire or USB2); or even disk storage across the internet.
