Permissions: School Assistant has permission to read your contacts to let you associate your contacts with a work group, unfortunately this feature still doesn't work on some phones. It also can start at boot so you can be notified when you have any close event and to make the widgets up-to-date. It prevents your phone from sleeping for 1 second (or less) when a class starts/ends and at midnight to update your data and mute your phone (if you enable that option), so don't worry it won't eat your battery. The permission to read/write data in the SD card is needed to let you backup your data. School now needs the permission to access Internet and check network state because of the ads. Don't worry, they won't popup in the main screen.
