Sonnet Fusion Fusion RX1600 Expansion 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID Controller (R680) Software 3.37 for Linux

This software includes the latest flash bundle (2011_06_22), driver (2.10), and Configuration Tool (v3.3.7) software for the Sonnet 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID controller card (R680) included with Fusion DX800RAID (newer models) and Fusion RX1600RAID (part number FUS-RX16S6-xxTB) storage systems.

This flash bundle release delivers significant performance improvements via a new PRD API and the addition of the Read Direct feature (RAID 5 only). This flash bundle release also fixes issues:
- that caused drives to disappear after waking the host computer from sleep
- with SATA NCQ processing under heavy load that could result in temporarily slow or permanently stalled I/O
- that caused a memory corruption issue when the RAID controller card's NVRAM was saved and the Configuration Utility closed and re-opened

This driver release adds fixes to support the v2.6.39 Linux kernel. This driver release also increases performance for transactional and streaming applications, and improves handling and discovery of drives during system reboot and when drives are pulled or reset.

This Configuration Tool release improves data reporting within the application and to 3rd party applications.

Note: Update the Sonnet 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID controller with the latest version of the firmware before installing the operating system driver. Use the latest version of the Configuration Tool application to make these updates.
